This magazine focus on two things camping and food. I love food and my family goes camping every year so I decided to put the two together. To show that you can have good food while you ate in the woods. I wanted to catch the readers eye with eye catching pictures so I added a bunch of them in different sizes throughout the magazine. I also wanted to make sure the text was easy to read and kept the attention of the reader. I wanted to make sure that the camping theme was see throughout the magazine. I did that but using pictures of food that gave off a camping vibe. I also used a wood background for the letter to editor to give that cabin feel. I also wanted to give that homey feel that is why the letter to editor looks like an handwritten letter and the recipe card looks handwritten. I also wanted to keep the food theme alive with the ads so they all have to deal with the food industry.
